After completion, participants will be able to: 1. Define three types of tethered oral tissues 2. Describe the benefits of why therapy/intervention is important prior to a TOTs release procedure 3. Recognize interventions that may be utilized prior to a TOTs release procedure 4. Evaluate the markers in determining Therapeutic Readiness prior to a TOTs release procedure. 5. List considerations requiring potential alterations in the pre-release markers.

This course is recognized by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). It is offered for 0.2 ASHA CEUs (Introductory Level, Professional Area). This course is not approved for partial credit. Participants must attend the course in its entirety to receive continuing education units. Satisfactory Completion - To receive ASHA CEU credit learners must: (1) View every section of the course in its entirety and (2) pass the quiz at the end of the course with at least 80% correct.
